Leonardo Da Vinci
Smart men do smart things. Leonardo Da Vinci was famous
because he attempted to invent the first flying machine, a clock that showed
minutes and hours, a helicopter, a 33 barreled organ, an armored car, a triple
barrel canon, a revolving bridge, scuba gear, a robotic knight and lots of
other inventions. In addition, he was a very successful painter. Some of his
most famous paintings where the Mona Lisa, the Last Supper, the Vitruvian Man, and
a Lady with an ermine, a self-portrait of himself. Some of his contributions to
the world include: he put minutes on a clock, he taught us about parts of human
and animal bodies. He also made important discoveries in astronomy, anatomy,
water, military, flight, mathematics, mechanics, botany, philology, music,
physics, optics, architecture, and measurement. Leonardo was a smart man.
